Why is it an issue?

Nobility had a special position in the country. Nobility’s ambition was to expand ITS (and only its) rights. Taking into consideration the size of the group (10% of the population), it was a development of the idea of justice and the rule of law, of fairness and equal treatment, of freedom of expression and speech, and of democracy, too – though restricted only to one social class.
