Eleni Apostolidou

Eleni Apostolidou is a secondary school teacher of history and researcher in the field of history education. Dr. Apostolidou studied classics at the University of Athens, and history at the Panteio University (Athens), and received a MA degree in international studies from the University of Leeds in England. Her doctoral research, The Historical Consciousness of 15-year-old students in Greece, was conducted at the Institute of Education of London, between the years 2002-2006. She worked at the Institute of Pedagogy in Athens and has contributed to the IJ HLT R (2010, 9.2) and with Irene Nakou in the IRHE (2010). In November 2011 she was elected lecturer in history didactics at the University of Ioannina (Greece).
