History Goes Digital

The idea to build Historiana started in 2007 when Joke van der Leeuw-Roord (Executive Director of EUROCLIO – European Association of History Educators) and Richard Hermans (Director of the Netherlands Institute of Heritage) discussed alternatives to the idea of a European History Textbook.



Different projects have contributed material to Historiana. A number of these projects have been coordinated by EUROCLIO – The European Association of History Educators.
